Strategic Plan
Painaustralia has a new Strategic Plan to guide our priorities for the next three years. As we are only too aware, the challenge of raising awareness of pain and making it a national health priority while ensuring equitable access to effective pain services for all Australians has never been greater.
The new Strategic Plan provides the roadmap for Painaustralia to improving the quality of life of people living with pain, their families, and carers, and to minimise the social and economic burden of pain on individuals and the community.
Our vision is for pain to be a recognised as a national health priority and that all Australians living with pain or at risk of pain-related disability, their families and carers can access credible information and a world-class system of care.
We work collaboratively with key stakeholders to integrate pain as a priority in the broader health agenda and our roadmap for achieving world-class care is the National Strategic Action Plan for Pain Management.
We invite you to read our Strategic Plan. Should you wish to comment on the plan, please contact us on admin@painaustralia.org.au with your feedback.
