My Hospitals Report 2019-20
The NPHED includes data on public hospital establishments, including public acute and psychiatric hospitals, and alcohol and drug treatment centres. It also includes public hospitals that provide subacute and non-acute care (for example, rehabilitation and palliative care hospitals).
The updated data provides a summary of the number of public hospitals in Australia, average available beds, and staffing information whether delivered and/or managed by hospitals or other administrative units (LHNs and state/territory health authorities).
This report provides a valuable insight into how Covid-19 has changed the way Australians use health services and, by extension, how people living with chronic pain may need to adapt how they manage their pain to make sure they continue to have access to the services they need.
The report can be accessed on the AIHW website.
