Painaustralia CEO Carol Bennett attended the MS Australia Parliamentary Friends of MS breakfast last month as part of World MS Day on May 30. MS is most commonly diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40 with 75 per cent of people diagnosed being women. Earlier this month, Painaustralia welcomed a number of changes to the listings of opioid medications under the Palliative Care Schedule of the PBS making it easier for patients undergoing palliative care to receive appropriate access to opioid medications.
