Morning Tea hosted by Palliative Care Australia
Painaustralia was pleased to join our members Palliative Care Australia at Parliament House in Canberra in July to celebrate the reconstitution of the Parliamentary Friends of Palliative Care co-chaired by the Hon Nola Marino and Senator Catryna Bilyk.
It was a good opportunity to discuss progress against what was outlined in Palliative Care 2030 as PCA work towards ensuring access to high quality palliative care in the future.
It was also an opportunity to show support to help get the Palliative Care Parliamentary Friends group up and running in the 46th Parliament, and to reinforce the National Palliative Care Strategy representing the commitment by all Australian governments to ensure that evidence-based, quality palliative care is available to everyone who requires it.
