We are currently seeking expressions of interest from consumers to take part in an evaluation of the impact of the Real Time Prescription Monitoring program, SafeScript NSW.
This project aims to evaluate the impact of SafeScript NSW on the consumer experience. The study will be conducted in three phases at three, six and 12 months with participants from across the state. It will explore any impacts, both positive and negative, of SafeScript NSW on consumers.
The study will enable NSW Health to evaluate whether SafeScript NSW has supported the management of their health.
Participants need to live in NSW and will be asked to participate in three semi-structured in-depth interviews and answer questions about their experience of SafeScript NSW over 9 months. Interviews will be conducted either by phone or online dependent on the participants’ preference. The first interview would need to be held this month (December 2022). Interview duration is expected to be between 45mins. Participation in this research project is entirely voluntary.
Qualitative data from the interviews will be analysed and used to develop and provide a report detailing the feedback, findings and experiences of the consumers.
In recognition of your time, participants will receive two gift cards of $50 each in value, one after the completion of the second interview, and the other at the completion of the third interview.
