Consumer Awareness and Education Project: Call for Resources

Painaustralia has now commenced work on the Consumer Awareness and Education Project as announced by Minister Hunt in 2019.

Painaustralia’s project will improve community understanding of pain and its treatments through the development of a ‘one stop shop’ providing a gateway for best practice evidence-based pain education and information in Australia. This interactive and comprehensive national website will be complemented by an ‘app’ for easy access to the information for consumers, carers and health practitioners.

Painaustralia is now reviewing information reflecting best practice evidence based principles. If your organisation would like to submit an expression of interest to include your resources as part of this information hub, we look forward to hearing from you.  Please contact us at admin@painaustralia.org.au.

With one in five Australians living with pain it is likely that someone you know is directly affected. Painaustralia is the national peak body working to improve the quality of life of people living with pain, their families and carers, and to minimise the social and economic burden of pain.

Donations of more than $100 will be acknowledged in the Painaustralia Annual Review, unless you wish to remain anonymous. Note that all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
