SHPA 2019 Medicines Leadership Forum

SHPA’s second Medicines Leadership Forum, was held in Canberra on Wednesday 14 August.

Painaustralia was pleased to participate in the forum along with SHPA members and external stakeholders from medical, nursing and policy fields. The forum addressed some of the challenges and opportunities facing hospital pharmacy practice in the important area of discharge.

The Forum saw important announcements by The Hon. Greg Hunt MP, Minister for Health (including the medication safety policy announcement around opioids) as well as a presentation on PBS listing and priorities presented by Professor Andrew Wilson, Chair, Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee.
